The results of your health assessment have identified specific signs and symptoms that are clinically consistent with an increased risk of

  • Herpes Simplex Virus 1 or  2 infection

Positive HSV results are associated with a range of conditions and signs, which have been clinically verified to include

  • HSV 1 + 2: Burning or Tingling before cystic lesions appear

  • HSV 1: Cold Sores

  • HSV 2: Genital Lesions

  • HSV 2: Unexplained urinary burning

Herpes Simplex testing is optional and used to investigate if unexplained urinary burning or burning or tingling before cystic lesions appear, correlates to Herpes Simplex Viral Infection.

Diagnostic confirmation enables appropriate and targeted management. In the absence of laboratory confirmation, antiviral therapy directed toward HSV will not be incorporated into the treatment plan.
